Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the factory
- Ensuring production is within lead times & of the highest quality and lowest cost
- Full knowledge on garment production, spinning, weaving, dying, washing, cutting, measuring, sewing, ...
- Liaising among different departments, e.g. purchasing, production, human resources, operations, quality control, sales
- Working with managers to implement the companies’ policies and goals
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Monitor and Supervising multiple production lines
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates
- Identifying training needs
- Improving and enhancing the overall factory production to achieve maximum efficiency, minimum waste and future plans.
- Maintain a clean, tidy & safe factory
- Improving and enhancing the manpower
- Control the factory production to achieve the annual budget
- Ability to control the communication between all departments
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years working experience as a factory/production manager within garment industry
- Prior experience in ownership of production line P&L
- Able to work on your own and as a team member
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management and planning skills
- Knowledge of production machinery and techniques
- Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems
- Ability to influence
- Strong Accountability, Planning and organizing skills
- Ability to act decisively
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Willing to travel within Asia
