Responsibilities:
- Perform and manage financial reporting function of the Bank and its subsidiaries in accordance with HKFRS and also head office reporting function.
- Perform and manage tax compliance and reporting function of the Bank and its subsidiaries in relevant tax jurisdictions.
- Perform and manage financial compliance function of the Bank and its subsidiaries in respect of relevant accounting standards and guidelines.
- Support new product/services programs of the Bank on tax and financial reporting aspects
- Participate in project exercises such as system upgrade/implementation
- Handle ad-hoc assignments
Requirements:
- Degree holder in accounting, finance and related discipline
- Qualified Accountant
- 6-7 years solid experience in accounting or auditing in the banking industry with at least 2 years in supervisory role
- Strong knowledge in treasury products, HKAS and HKFRS
- Good knowledge about Hong Kongtaxation
- Knowledge of PRC accounting and taxation is advantage
- Good computer skills with database management knowledge
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Independent, proactive and able to work under tight schedule and pressure
